Michael Blevins is a lifetime student of the human body. Starting his journey into the fitness world with a decade of martial arts training and philosophy. 5 years training, competing and winning in the endurance sports of road cycling and triathlon. He has spent the past 6 years traveling and training with some of the world’s best coaches and athletes as a pursuit of developing general physical preparedness for athletic endeavors, lifestyle pursuits, and military application. Lifting, riding and learning with Powerlifting and Ironman champions in South Africa, Getting instruction from European weightlifting champions in Sofia, Bulgaria as well as teaching, learning and sharing ideas with regional and CrossFit Games athletes, Strongman title holders, National weightlifting champions and world renown coaches across the United States. Former instructor and seminar staff of Gymjones in Salt Lake City. Michael was a trainer in service to the production of major motion pictures such as: Man of steel in which he coached Henry Cavill, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue as well as many of the stunt crew prepare for their role both physically and mentally. 300 Rise of an Empire, as lead trainer for Sullivan Stapleton, as well as the other 40 remarkable physical specimens of the stunt and acting crew. As of recently the personal coach of Henry Cavill for Batman V. Superman: Dawn of justice, and the anticipated film Justice League; Dawn of Justice. He has been featured in multiple publications for his methods in nutrition, training, and competition such as: Train magazine, Details Magazine, Men's Health, Men's Fitness, Men's Fitness U.k., Muscle&Fitness. He is a featured coach and contributing writer for www.breakingmuscle.com. He is also part of the coaching staff for the professional fitness team The LA Reign, part of the GRID league organization.
When not traveling he resides in Salt Lake City, UT, where he and his wife still trains and competes in multiple different disciplines including: CrossFit, weightlifting, and various endurance pursuits.
